The Royals' Favourite Watches this Season

Wimbledon has been around for over a century with the first ever game played in 1877. Twenty - one amateur tennis player showed up to compete in the Gentlemen’s single match which was the only event at the time. After 135 editions of the game a lot of things have changed! But alas for now we bid farewell to another year of superb tennis and accomplishments as Wimbledon's magnificent season comes to a close for another year. One of the oldest and most prestigious tennis competitions in the world, the Wimbledon championships attracts the top players in the sport.

On July 10, Novak Djokovic overcame Australia's Nick Kyrgios in four close sets before winning the match in a tiebreaker. This was his fourth consecutive Wimbledon victory and 21st Grand Slam triumph. Since 2013, he has gone undefeated in Wimbledon's Center Court, and he was given the opportunity to win the Silver Gilt Cup and receive $2,500,000. Elena Rybakina defeated No. 3 seed Ons Jabeur on July 9 to win the 2022 Wimbledon women’s singles title.

The duchess of Cambridge presented the men's singles champion with a magnificent trophy in style, while wearing a Cartier watch on her wrist. Since Cartier is renowned as "Jeweller to the King," they are often associated with royalty. Kate was photographed sporting a stainless steel Cartier Ballon Bleu watch. She had been spotted wearing that watch before whilst handing a trophy to Novak Djokovic in 2019. A great watch of this calibre needs to be stored properly, and Rapport has the ideal solution for that: "Aura large jewellery box." As this box has many compartments and drawers, it would look extremely elegant on a dressing table with its various colour patterns, it would be the ideal option to store away multiple quantities of jewellery.

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, is no stranger to this particular watch. He was seen sporting an Omega Seamster Professional 300m, also referred to as the Bond seamaster and named after the 1995 James Bond film "Goldeneye," while at the games. The future king treasures this watch greatly because he wore it on his wedding day as well. It is a classic timepiece. The watch was reportedly given to him by his late mother, Princess Diana, and is said to have additional sentimental value. A watch with this much sentimental significance and value ought to be stored properly with the "heritage ten watch box" by Rapport. This handmade storage container features a suede interior, a veneer finish and space for ten watches.
