An Insight into the World of Watches

An Insight into the World of Watches

Watches and Wonders is a standout event, gathering of the leading players in watchmaking worldwide once a year. The trade show organised by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) benefits many FHH member brands and this year Geneva has taken the turn to be the host. However, in the light of the Coronavirus pandemic, the organisers behind the show have planned a virtual show in its place.

“Being part of the watch world we look forward to these important annual events and Watches&Wonders is an opportunity to learn of the new trends presented by the industry. This year will be different with it being held virtually but we are sure it will have the same great impact”- says Oliver Rapport.

The virtual Geneva fair will feature no fewer than 38 brands who will unveil their latest releases for this year. Press conferences, presentations to retailers, a daily live “Morning Show”, virtual tours and many more create the atmosphere for a fully digital Salon experience. For more than ten days, the eyes of the world will be on the creativity and expertise of the most prestigious names in watchmaking. Richemont companies such as Cartier, Rolex, Chopard, Chanel, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panarai, Piaget and Vacheron Constantin will be the show’s forerunner.

The event will be held from 7th-13th April on watchesandwonders.com digital platform. Everyday brand leaders and watchmaking experts will discuss the perspectives and challenges that lie ahead for the industry making the event an ideal place for an open debate. Some major announcements, new watch presentations and exclusive product reveals are expected, all on the watchesandwonders.com platform. Watch here!
